CYF Clubs
Canadian Youth for French (CYF) Clubs bring postsecondary students who value French together on university and college campuses.
Our goal is for there to be a CYF Club on every campus around the country.
CYF CLUB OVERVIEW
CYF Clubs organize activities for their members at a local level, ensuring that they have everything they need to learn or practice their French while they study.
Some of the supports that CYF Clubs organize for their members are:
Welcoming physical spaces for people to speak with each other and get help with their French.
Social activities (coffee, movie nights, game nights, field trips, discussion groups, etc.)
Bridge-building activities with francophone communities to gain an appreciation for the cultural aspects of speaking French
Community outreach.
One of the strengths of a national organization comprised of clubs is that best practices can easily be shared across the country, giving more individuals a chance to realize their French goals.
